Toyota seems to be getting back to building some exciting cars from the 86 and their involvement in the 86 race series, to the WRC, WEC and LeMans, this Australian designed and built Hilux is a reminder of the great design and engineering talents we have down under. The Tonka Hilux is customised with bespoke Carbon panels, and tough, purposeful off road accessories.
Coinciding with the Tonka concept Toyota launched a new Hilux variant with modifications and upgraded features from TRD. It was put through it's paces on the off road obstacle course and was impressive to say the least.
Well done Toyota and Tonka.
